Today I made another recipe from my Food Porn Daily book! This time I made Uber-Creamy Salami and Chevre Macaroni and Cheese, and may I say it was absolutely phenomenal! Since I don't eat pork I left out the salami. I made the cheese sauce using Sharp Cheddar and Herb Chevre cheese, heavy cream, milk, mustard powder, thyme, ground nutmeg, and crushed red pepper flakes. I mixed panko bread crumbs and olive oil and topped off the Mac & Cheese with that before baking. It was by far the best Macaroni and Cheese I've had in years, and the title does not lie, it was UBER-CREAMY!!! This dish is perfect for cold winter nights, and goes perfectly with a fresh green salad and some crostinis. Enjoy my friends, and hopefully you'll enjoy as much as I did!
