Coachella, where do I even begin? A place and event that has been on the bucket list since the bucket list began, a dream that seemed too far away to even start thinking about realistically. A couple quick decisions and a whole lot of money later I found myself in Palm Springs - Coachella bound for the ultimate musical experience and what I had always dreamt about was about to become a reality.

Coachella weekend one can easily be described in one overused word, epic. The art, the music, the celebrities and sunshine it all seemed to good to be true but for that one weekend it wasn't all a dream (what up biggie) and it was paradise on the planet Earth. The palm trees were abundant, sunshine in full force and musical guests galore graced the desert for a weekend of epic performances including Pharrell including musical guests Busta Rhymes, Nelly, Tyler the Creator, Major Lazor, P Diddy, Snoop Dog, Gwen Stefani - yes all of those artists on stage with Pharrell - epic? Yes! Other surprise guest appearances included Beyonce joining sister Solange, Jay Z and P Diddy coming out during Nas' Illmatic performance, Mary J Blige joining the stage with Disclosure, Drake surprising guests on stage with Jhene Aiko, and The Bieber joining Chitown native Chance the Rapper. Needless to say, it was a weekend of surprise artists that made it unforgettable, oh and the Koji food truck, yeah kicked ass!
