So sorry for the lack of posts this past week, but I was road tripping out to Watkins Glen, New York to attend Phish's Summer music festival, Superball 9. Watkins Glen is a picture perfect landscape of lush green trees and deep blue lakes surrounded by gorgeous valleys and hills. The music festival went above and beyond my expectations and my love for Phish has grown deeper than ever. With a secret set Saturday night at the USA Self Storage set up, and first time songs being played such as Suskind Hotel and Monkey Man, Phish definitely delivered. Busting out crowd favorites such as Colonel Forbin's Ascent as well as Reba and David Bowie on the closing night just added positive fuel to the already raging fire. The friends, the constant sunshine, the laughs, activities, positive vibes, the crunchy tunes, and boogie beats all attributed to an absolutely epic weekend. Nonstop live Phish, 2AM Ferris Wheel rides, good people, day chilling and evening grilling were just some of the fun aspects of a fantastic weekend. Take a look at the pictures if you don't believe me.
