Owner and Chef of Chilam Balam, Chuy Valencia's restaurant located on Broadway Ave, in Chicago is a tiny place packed full of flavor. The restaurant is a garden unit and seats around 25 people tops, so if you don't have a reservation good luck getting in. The place in small and quaint and exudes an authentic Mexican feel. The plates are primarily small but absolutely delicious and you can tell all the ingredients are fresh to their fullest potential. Definitely some of the best authentic gourmet Mexican food I have had in the city yet.
