I had the privilege of dining at Hot Dougs for a second timet his past Friday. I had a lot of time waiting in line to contemplate what to order and decided to go with the Fois Grois Duck Sausage and the Mountain Man, which was the game of the week and consisted of Elk, Venison, Buffalo, and Antelope, garnished with Van Gogh Cheese. I indugled in some duck fat fries as well, since they only serve them on Fridays and Saturdays. My friends got the Atomic Ribeye which consisted of a Spicy Ribeye Sausage with Horseradish Cream sause and Crispy Onions, The Fois Grois dog which is a Duck sausage with Truffle aioli Fois Grois Mousse and Fleur de Sel, and the traditional Chicago Dog. Be prepared to pay around $8 or $9 for one of the weekly specials, and be prepared to wait in line a long time. We arrived in line around 1:45 and didn't get in to order until 3:15, well worth the wait :)
