Arroz con Huevos (rice with eggs) is a traditional Peruvian dish that will surely fill your stomach for no more than 2 Soles. We got this at the San Pedro Market in Cusco City, where we dined like locals on the benches and got to feeling as if we were as Peruvian as anyone else in the market. Arroz con huevos consists of rice with chopped cucumbers, tomatoes, and onions topped with a fried egg and freshly fried potatoes. For such a simple dish it has such unique and pleasing flavor and with the atmosphere that surrounds the entire San Pedro market you cannot help but to be content in one of those perfect moments you make a point to make a mental memory of.
