During our last night in Puno on Lake Titicaca, my mom and I dined in the lovely restaurant in our beautiful hotel the Casa Andina Private Collection. Situated right along Lake Titicaca, the restaurant at the Casa Andina has a very laid back yet sophisticated vibe. The food is gourmet and the portions are very un-American, meaning they were perfectly portioned. I had beef filet while my mom stuck with penne pasta, but it was the dessert that left us happy and satisfied. The dessert was Coca Creme Brulee and was nothing if not brilliant. I must say, the food all over the country of Peru was absolutely outstanding. Whether it was the street vendors, or the gourmet kitchens every meal I ate in the amazing country of Peru was sensational.
