One of the many great things about San Francisco is the delicious Sourdough Bread. With butter, olive oil, on a sandwich, or just plain the Sourdough bread of San Francisco is in a class of it's own. My favorite place to pick up a loaf of bread is definitely Boudin Bakery, if ever in the area, be sure and try and go to the one located by the Wharf. It has such a vibrant atmosphere and offers not only a huge variety of breads and baked goods, but also has a Bistro for breakfast and lunch.
